Strengthen Families

Homeward Bound is committed to keeping families together during a housing crisis. The trauma associated with separating family members during a homeless episode can be absolutely devastating as well as cause additional barriers to housing.  Therefore, Homeward Bound does not hinge its program eligibility on the composition of a family.  Families consisting of two parent families, families with teens, female headed single families as well as families headed by single males are all eligible to receive services at Homeward Bound. The ultimate goal of Homeward Bound is to strenthen families and help them move into their own perminanct housing.

Empower Families

Homeward Bound provides an array of services to help homeless families increase their level of self-sufficiency.  Families are given the opportunity to learn new ways to manage their family life and finances.

Responsible Stewardship

Homeward Bound incorporates stewardship into all aspects of the Emmaus House program.  Homeward Bound utilizes both programmatic and financial best practices in the operation of Emmaus House.
